Pacillo Silvio, Age: 70.

After a few years of teaching, in 1971 joined as a marketing trainee in the Unilever Group, working later in different Divisions of Personal Products.

As Marketing & Sales Director in Elida Gibbs, when Unilever acquires Cheseborough-Pond’s and then Fabergé, he is in charge of their trade integration and, at the same time, one of the 4 members of co-ordination of the European Marketing Network, in the future of a united Europe. Since ’90 he is also responsible of European “Oral Care Innovation Centre”, based in Milan, under its birth and starting, and member of the Board of Directors of the new local  Personal Products  Company which operates under the brands Elida Gibbs, Atkinsons, Rimmel, Elizabeth Arden, Cerruti, Valentino and later Calvin Klein in their respective distribution channels. As  General Manager Atkinsons  since ‘94, develops it as one of the most innovative Perfumery company of the decade, ending  his career In 2002 after 40 years of work and over 30 in Unilever.

Silvio Pacillo has extensive experience in market strategy and innovation. His passion for the issues of change and communication, organization and training led him to be for more than twenty years one of the guarantors of the training school Unilever and conduct lectures and testimonies at several universities. Today he continues to provide training and consulting in strategy. Worked for years as a professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pavia, in the formative activities of the SICC (Italian Society of Chemical cosmetologists), and is one of the founding members of PLEF (Planet Life Economy Foundation).
